Nodar Nutsubidze

Was born in 1928 august 22, biochemist, professor, an Academician of Georgian Academy of Sciences. In 1956 March 6 he maintained the Master's degree on thesis: Catechins Trasformation in Madera Sort of Wine and in 1970 October 28 Doctor's degree on Nitrogen Assimilation in Vine.
Under his competent direction and immediate participation at the early stage of his activity catehins, antocians and flavonoid content and trasformations in plants and wine had been studied.
The following work is carried out, for 3 decades: search of nitrogen assimilation and it's enzymatic mechanisms in perrenial and annual plants; search of enzymatic systems participating in nitrogen fixation; in simbiotic search of regulatory patways of enzymes influence in above mentioned research objects.
Since 1963 periodically and since 1972 regularly Nutsubidze has been delivering Lectures in Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Plant Physiology and Biotechnology at the Georgian Agrarian University and Zooveterinary Institute.
In 1980 he was made a professor of Bioorganic Chemistry. Since 1965 he has been a deputy director in scientific field of the Durmishidze Institute of Plant Biochemistry.
Simultaneously he is a chief of Nitrogen Fixation and Enzymes Assimilation Laboratory. Since 1970 he has been an assistant chief of "Tsodna" - society of Georgian Academy of Sciences.
