At different times under the supervision of T.Oniani in
the lab. of Neurobiology of the Sleep-Wakefulness Cycle
were trained young scientists from Hungary, Poland,
Chekhoslovakia, Germany, USA, Canada, as well as from
Moscow, and Leningrad. Among them Peter Molnar (Hungary)
in 1967-1970 defended dissertation and was conferred
title of Cand. of Med Sci.
Wesleyan (USA) Univ. Assistant-professor David Adams
after 18-month training at the recommendation of T.Oniani
got the position of a professor.
T.Oniani has been supervisor of 19 candidate and 1
doctoral dissertations.
