1943-1952 President- director of S.Janashyia State Museum of Georgia.
1952-1972 Supervisor of studies of archaeology section at Iv. Javakhishvily Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of Georgia, the Academy of Science of Georgia.
1972 Head of Ancient Age Archaeology department
1994, 1st of April - President-director of the Mtskheta Archaeology Institute, the Academy of Science of Georgia.
1964 - Hounoured Scientist
