Complex social-geographic and economic-geographic
study of Georgia and its regions. (Already published in about 20 monographs)

Geographical estimation of population, settlements
and urbanization of Georgia.

Special study
of individual branches of geography ( industry,
rural economy, transport, social infrastructure, tourism, spas, national
parks, sport of Georgia)
4.
Priority themes: To study the problems of Georgia as
an independent country: mountain
areas, the Black Sea coast, social-economic
development of bordering regions,
administrative- territorial arrangement of the state, estimation of
political-geographical and social-ecological problems.
5.
Social-economic maps for
different type of atlases (national, regional, thematic, educational) and
scientific publications.
6.
Governmental (Ministerial, department, parliamentary
committee, commission et al.),contacts with non -governmental and private
organizations , make up
programs, projects and other type of work, consultations
and experts cooperation.
